The game itself is quite decent, but most of the features with other players are fake and often rigged against you..
Whenever you get to ‘hire someone else’ you always get the same choices of low level characters with the same outfits and the same bonuses with no real variation.
With the race event where you have to collect stars a player who was around 0 stars when you join will suddenly surpass you if you’re heading for second or third place even though the rate at which they gain those stars is way faster than what should be possible in the game and none of the characters ever seem to get past 700 stars by the end, they always hover around 600, 400 and 250-300 with barely any deviation.
The time trial events where you just try to beat the event the fastest feels the most genuine but even there there are frequently times which feel too fast to be legit but not so fast that they’re obvious cheaters so I’m assuming they’re fake players from the game itself as well.
If you ignore these things and don’t try to get number 1 in them it’s a fun game to play, but if you want to be ‘competitive’ then I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s based on how much real world money you spent rather than how good your gear and strategy is :/
