Going skiing or snowboarding this winter? Download trail maps from your favourite ski resorts to your iPhone and use the built-in GPS to find your way around the slopes or track your activities.
The best thing is that you don't need an active internet connection, just download the maps you'll need in advance and everything you need on the slopes is right there on your iPhone. If you do have an internet connection available however, you can display webcams from Windy.com on the piste maps or check the weather forecast at your favourite resort.
SkiMaps is now also available on iPad, a great tool for making plans for your next trip!

A bug was fixed that could cause the connection with the SkiMaps API to fail after going offline for a bit.
Handig, maar niet up to date
Handige app om direct te zien waar je zit, maar helaas zijn een aantal kaarten al 3 jaar oud dus niet meer up to date
Seiser Alm ontbreekt, maar nu niet meer.....
Ziet er op zich goed uit alleen het skigebied waar wij heen gaan, Seiser Alm in Süd Tirol Italië, stond er niet in. Een e-mail gestuurd en een dag later stond ook Seiser Alm er bij. Super service!
Leuk
De app is prima bedacht. Wel heel vervelend dat het starten van andere app, binnenkomende SMS of telefoontjes zorgen dat de tracking stopt :-( daarom twee sterren.
