Update actually makes most things worse
The recent big update, which has tried to make it more uniform with the other Topps apps has only made the Topps Bunt experience much worse for me.
It’s much slower, taking much longer to load everything and freezes more often.
There are several more issues, but the one that I dislike most is that there is no more complete checklist in the news articles for new sets. Previously I was able to scroll through the entire checklist including insert sets to see if the players I am collecting are in there, so I could easily determine if I wanted to open packs for it. But after the new update you can no longer see the complete checklist at one glance, but you have to click on every subset & awards section seperately, which is a lot more time consuming and I don’t always have the time to do that, so it has actually made me spend less time on the app than I did previously.
This specific issue should be very easy to fix: you only need to include complete checklists in every news article like you did before.
Phone heats up quickly using this app
My 6s Plus heats up very quickly using this app. This worries me. What is it doing in the background? The app itself doesn't seem so sophisticated that it should burden my phone.
This update is not ready for release
Avoid this update if you can! Numerous bugs and usability issues including performance problems even on my iPhone 7.
10 issues include (there are more, but this is all I have time for):
1. Loading screen freezes during trades and searching cards. Requires an app restart. (Very Critical)
2. Searching through a fan's cards is slow and also buggy. If searched cards aren't loaded yet, the loaded cards will just loop by category, display overlapped and out of order or sometimes not at all. (Critical)
3. Removing a card from a trade causes the horizontal scroll to snap to the beginning for no reason. (Minor)
4. After a trade, the bottom bar often is gone requiring an app restart. (Critical)
5. 1:1 comments sometimes go to the fan feed! (Critical)
6. Total comment count in 1:1 conversation often incorrect
7. Animation performance is below 15 fps on an iPhone 7.
8. Cards in trades are often just black squares and never load.
9. Double tapping a card will still zoom it in instead of added it to a trade. Double tap is more difficult than in previous version - especially if the pane is still slightly scrolling.
10. Not sure why the comment box is now at the top. UI issue especially on taller phones. The text entry box then shows at the bottom after selecting the comment box at the top.
