MeerThough personally I find the controls a bit of a downfall. You can run around perfectly, but it's hardly doable to look up or down.
With that said... The surroundings are really beautiful. It's a pleasure to be able to just walk and look around, without having to fight or grind or feel the need to pick up quests.

I am a betatester for Brightridge:Nimian Legends updates, and involved pretty much from release day, providing lots of feedback and ideas to the developer Robert Kabwe. (Yes, I am a huge fan of his).
That's the first thing standing out. Despite being a single indie developer doing this on the side of his regular business, he is incredibly involved with the fan community, always responding fast to questions and feedback.
Also, I am adding this review here, as this is the original version before the massive HD update, and I got the HD one via promocode, courtesy of the developer.
In addition to exploring a huge and beautifully crafted world, in the HD version you now have a story mode that gives some background on it and the two main characters. On top of telling a charming little story, it had some absolutely breathtaking scenes, but I won't spoil those for you.
Graphics-wise it blows everything else available on iOS out of the water. Plus, Robert (the developer) added settings like ultra-high resolution well in advance, in anticipation of more powerful devices, so I am certain it will stay beautiful for years to come.
The world itself is fantastic, beautifully and lovingly hand-crafted with a keen eye for details, and chockfull with those everywhere.
it's one of the best experiences in 35 years of gaming, sharing pretty lofty heights with other masterpieces like Planescape:Torment and King of Dragon Pass. Brightridge is truly unique, I know no other game like it.
If you like exploring for its own sake, deep immersion, and be all awed by beautiful landscapes: then it's the best - and graphically most gorgeous - thing I know. The graphical options you can fiddle around with - e.g. setting lighting and weather effects - have no equal I know of and make for everything from subtle to drastic changes in atmosphere.5door Nul******06/10/2016
