Legend has it that over 642 million Chinese play Tichu nearly every day! I don't know about that. All I know is that Tichu might very well be the world's best card game.
Tichu is a partnership game for four players where partners battle to be the first to play all of their cards and score points. Each hand is filled with strategy and risk. Will you be the first player to play all of your cards? Perhaps you'd like to make a little wager on that? Are you willing to risk 100 points? How about 200?

Great game
This is the same game as the Chinese Tai Pan card game. The only difference is that in this game the sequence is clockwise, whereas in the original game it is counter clockwise. I gave 4 stars instead of five as the game occasionally halts/blocks, especially when opening. After a couple of trials the game starts correctly. I only used it in the off-line single player mode.
Time for an overhaul
Still some stars because it’s the only Tichu app in the store. But after all this time it’s time for an overhaul. Last update was many years, iOS versions and screen sizes ago.
For more experienced players the AI becomes very frustrating. They play bad. Make stupid mistakes like demanding a not exchanged card when playing the 1 or actively obstruct the team mate that called Tichu. It forgets that it’s not about finishing first, but scoring the most points. Etc.
And playing with friends via Game Center hasn’t worked in years. I’ve been a fan for years and must have played many thousands of hands but it’s no fun anymore
Love it
This great game needs to have a decent app and now there is! Plays well, love it.
